The Fae in New Orleans

Since the discovery of the Americas by the citizens of New Europa, there has been a yearning desire for something new and different for the fae to discover. After being around of countless centuries, any variation in the pattern of daily life appeals to most fae. The only problem is that there are many spirits and magicks native to the Americas….not quite fae, but definitely powerful and dangerous in their own unique ways. To gain access into American society means that fae will become targets of these different and unique legends and folklore. They haven't had millenia to study and learn the various ways of these Native American cultures.

Auberon has made it a task of the Unseelie Court to find ways to infiltrate the United States of America and expose their vulnerabilities. His current agents are a troupe of goblins have their access to the sewers and underground tunnels of New Orleans via access to a portal located directly in Cemetary No. 2. They would have prefered not to have their opening between the faerie realm and New Orleans be in a cemetary, but one simply cannot not choose these things, they just are.

The time is ripe, as the country has already been through a Civl War, and the divide between the denizens of that land has never been harder to bridge. Auberon knows that New Orleans is the perfect gateway into the country, as the port is ruled by pirates and Orleans in not subject to the laws that govern the rest of that country, so they are also separate from its protections.
